PORTFOLIO & CELTIC CHALLENGE SUBMISSIONS

1. PORTFOLIO SERVICE – KEITH FERRIER RETIRES

After many years of excellent service to the WPF where in the last few years he has been our Membership Secretary and has run the Portfolio Service – which he has made popular not only in the WPF but also in our neighbouring Federations – Keith has retired from the Executive due to ill health. He will be sorely missed and the whole Executive wishes him all the best for his time in retirement.

The Portfolio provides great value for money – it is free apart from postage – and has a range of Salons and collections of pictures that make a good Club night.

2. Submissions of Prints, Slides & DPIs for selection for the Celtic Challenge and Inter Federation Slide Competition

As I am sure you are aware each Club has been asked to provide a selection of Colour and Mono prints and similarly slides or DPIs to enable us to choose 10 Mono Prints, 10 Colour Prints and 10 Slides for Celtic and 24 Slides for the Inter Federation. The closing date for submissions is 8th September and they can be delivered at the Lampeter Convention if convenient.

It would be useful if you could let us know whether you are going to provide a submission and if it will be at Lampeter or direct to my house so that we can arrange necessary transport etc.

I am anticipating an excellent entry this year to allow us to make inroads on these two competitions. Look forward to hearing from you.
