1. ERIC MORGAN

Would you please let other clubs know of the death of our good friend, Eric Morgan, who passed away peacefully, with his family around him.

Eric has been a long standing member of our club taking several offices. He will be greatly missed.

Our sympathies go out to his wife\Ethel and his family.

Eric was a true gentleman, who always had a good word for everyone he met. He was always willing to help members, especially the newer members. His passing will touch everyone who knew him.

There will be an announcement in the Argus on Monday, regarding his funeral details, but I have been informed provisionally that it will be on Thursday 9th August 2007, at 1pm, at the crematorium.

Hi I have been given some darkroom equipment by a well meaning acquaintance who thought it would help me with my degree studies.

Unfortunately the equipment is from around the 40's/50's and does not compare in any way to the modern enlargers etc I use in Uni.

Equipment List

2 Gnome enlargers, complete with 35mm and medium format lenses

Spare bulbs for same

Filters and filter holders

A Russian foldaway enlarger (complete)

2 Ceramic deving dishes about 5x3 or 6x4

A glossing finisher?

A colour deving unit

If you are interested then contact Gabrielle as above.

4. PAGB Awards – AWPF Awards

Unfortunately for those of you interested in obtaining your CPAGB or DPAGB I understand from Leo Rich that this November’s event in Kegsworth Derby is oversubscribed. The next event will be in the Southern Federation probably near Southampton in April 2008; Leo will be opening the books for that event on October 1st 2007 it is worth getting your application in early as the PAGB Awards are very popular.

The AWPF event on October 21st still has space for more applicants so get in touch with Roger Lewis as soon as you can to reserve your entry.

Roger can be contacted at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it or on 01656 890567.
