Annual Exhibition

Tuesday 31st July-Sat 8th September 2007

You are cordially invited to attend the opening of our 2007 exhibition on Tuesday the 31st of July 2007 at 7.00 pm refreshments will be available and there is ample parking close by.

The Mayor from The Vale of Glamorgan Council will be opening the exhibition.

The exhibition will be held at Barry Library & Gallery King Square, Barry, Vale of

Glamorgan.

Opening times are Wednesday 1st of August to Saturday 8th of September 12.00 noon –5.00 pm the exhibition will not be open Sundays & Mondays.

2. Bridgend Camera Club are Organising a new Competition – "5 to 8"

The competition will be based on the RPS "Photo harmony" rules. Entrants – Individuals or Groups - will be expected to enter a sequence, using either "Pictures to Exe." or "Pro Shop Gold", of images set to music lasting between 5 and 8 minutes,

The closing date will be in February 2008 and the Competition will take place in April 2008.

3. The Stanley Chell Print Competition 2007.

Advanced Notice.

Aberdare Camera Club will be holding their annual competition on November 17th 2007.

The Judge will be Mr Terrick Meakin APAGB,ARPS. Judging will commence at 2.00pm.

The venue, same as past two years, will be the Cwmaman Public Hall and Institute, Cwmaman, Aberdare.

The competition is for a Club entry of four prints (one print per author) comprising monochrome, colour or both. There will be four awards. The Stanley Chell Memorial Trophy for best Club entry of four prints. The Hans Hoyer Trophy for best monochrome print. The Glyn John Trophy for best colour print and the Glan Mair Trophy for best landscape print.

Entry forms will be issued to all WPF Clubs in August.

Entries may be given to Aberdare Camera Club members at Gwynfa PIXELS 07 to be held on November 3rd.
