Ace of Clubs Digital, Required Submissions, John Morgan Trophy

1. Ace of Clubs Digital Image Competition Rules – these are about to be sent to your Clubs and are available on our Website www.thewpf.co.uk

As agreed at the AGM this will be the new format for the Ace in future, though we are prepared to run a slide competition providing there is sufficient interest – this would mean at least 10 Clubs wanting to enter.

2. Request for pictures – as last year we need to enter the Celtic Challenge on 28th/29th September (10 Mono, 10 Colour Prints and 10 slides) and the Inter Federation Slide Competition on 1st October (24 Slides) so each Club has been asked to provide 5 of each print and 10 slides (Digital Images are acceptable) by 8th/9th September (Lampeter Convention Weekend) or earlier direct to me. So come on folks lets see you best work and show the best of WPF images to the rest of the UK.

3. The John Morgan Trophy

Firstly let me apologise for not publishing the results of the John Morgan Trophy yet. I was away from home both during and after the competition and I have still to receive the results myself. As soon as I can get the information I will publish it on our website along with as many images as I can but this may take another week.
Secondly Bob Steadman is attempting to arrange an exhibition of the entries at Lampeter and he would be grateful if the prints entered could be brought to the convention.
Lastly very many thanks to all clubs and photographers who entered - your support was greatly appreciated. We hope you enjoyed the experience.
