Exhibition news from the Clubs: -

1. The Gwent Photographic & Digital Imaging Society Annual Exhibition.

Our annual exhibition of images will be held at:-

The "RIVERFRONT" Art Centre,

Bristol Packet Warf,

Newport,

NP20 1HG

from 12th May 2007 to 9th June 2007

This is an exhibition to show some of the work carried out by our members, both Advanced and Beginners. It shows a varied approach to our photography with standard 35mm used, both in colour and black and white as well as digital work.

Opening times are Monday to Saturday 10:30am to 7:30pm

Admission Free.

2. DEAN PC - ANNUAL EXHIBITION

Dean PC will be holding their Annual Exhibition in Clearwell Village Hall on the 5th to 7th of May (The May Day Bank Holiday) between 10.00am and 5.00pm . As usual this will be part of the St.Peters(Clearwell) Flower Festival. As well as the main exhibition in the hall there will be a number of flower pictures between the flower arrangements in the Church. Clearwell is located just off of the B4228 between Chepstow and Coleford just north of St.Briavels. The Festival is signposted on the road. Refreshments including a cooked lunch and home made cakes (to rival hose we enjoy at WPF events) will be available each day.

It is worth going to see as many exhibitions as you can to have a range of quality and styles to enable you to better understand what you really appreciate about images – give you an opportunity to establish your style.
