ACE OF CLUBS COMPETITION
With just 9 clubs competing, the competition was none the less just as exciting as dark horses Tenby and District C C , with mainly new members work, pipped Swansea C C to the top spot.
Two of the judges, Joanne Stolte PPSA and Peter Gennard MPAGB, MFIAP/p had just spent two days selecting for the Welsh International and were pleasantly surprised by the high standard of the entries.
Tenby and Swansea will now go forward to represent the WPF at the PAGB Inter-Club Slide Championship at The Arts Centre, University of Warwick on Saturday 21st July starting at 10.15 a.m.
A poster for the event will be sent to your club in due course. Anyone who wishes to attend will need a ticket. Details on the poster. It's an excellent day out and our clubs will be delighted to receive your support.
Webmaster Neil Aubin now has candid shots of the event in the Ace of Clubs Gallery on
www.thewpf.co.uk Photos are by Leigh Woolford and judge Joanne Stolte. Tenby and Swansea will be posting their top 15 images in due course.
April's IN PRINT will include an article, comment and more photographs.
