STANLEY CHELL 2006 Nineteen clubs participated. The Stanley Chell Memorial Trophy for Best Club Entry of Four Prints was Merthyr Tydfil P.S. with 70pts. (Swansea C.C. came second with 68pts and Abergavenny C.C. came third with 66pts) The Hans Hoyer Trophy for Best Monochrome Print was won by Allen Lloyd of Newport P.C. with ‘Gough takes the High Ball’ (19pts) The Glyn John Trophy for Best Colour Print was won by John Carter-Evans of Merthyr Tydfil P.S. with ‘Last Light’ (20pts) The Glan and Mair Howells Trophy for Best Landscape Print was won by Nigel Lewis of Vale P.C. with ‘Autumn Morning on the Brethay’.
