PIXELS 06 is THIS SATURDAY at 2.30pm - ALL WELCOME Gwynfa's annual PIXELS 06 competition takes place this Saturday 28th October at Talbot Green Community Centre. (We are using the same venue as the 'Ace of Clubs' and the 'WPF AGM'. Directions available at www.thewpf.co.uk) The competition commences at 2.30pm but the doors open, and the kettle goes on, at about 1.45pm so you can get a cuppa before we start if you've had a long journey. Our judge from Shrewsbury, Mr. Peter Rees FRPS EFIAP MPAGB, certainly has his work cut out! We have received a bumper entry from 26 clubs, each entering four photographs (two colour and two monochrome). The quality of the work is very strong so it should be a very enjoyable and interesting afternoon. The approximate timetable for the day is: 1.45pm Doors Open (Tea & Coffee available) 2.30pm Official Start - Introductions & Formalities 2.40pm Round One (Colour) and Round Two (Monochrome) 3.50pm Intermission and Buffet 4.20pm Round Three (Colour) and Round Four (Monochrome) 5.30pm Conclusion and Awards 5.40pm End Everyone is welcome to attend, whether your club has entered or not! or 01443 491333 ___________________________ Cardiff Camera Club Annual Exhibition. The exhibition will be showing at the Norwegian Church Arts centre, Cardiff Bay between 31 October and 14 November 2006. The Centre is open between 9am and 5pm daily.
