Hi everybody.
My name is Richard Craze, I live in Porthcawl and I love taking pictures. I use a Lumix G1 with 14mm to 45mm standard zoom lens, I also use a Canon 500D with a 15mm to 85mm zoom lens. I'm not into any kind of photography, I just like taking pictures of things that catch my eye.
I joined Bridgend Camera club in 1991 and left in 1999. While I was at Bridgend Camera club a few of us also became members of the Royal Photographic Society. I gained my LRPS in 1994 and my ARPS in 1995. After being made redundant from Attwood & Sawyer Ltd in 2000. I then worked for Wedgewood as a freelance model maker for two years, but they were going thought some pretty bad times as well. So I finely decided to try my hand at being a pro photographer. From 2003 to 2008 I got paid to take pictures! I had to photograph weddings, families, kids, dogs, house hold items and some very unpleasant looking injuries. I loved being my own boss, but my body had other ideas, I had a small heart attack in 2009, which resulted in me having to have bypass surgery. I'm now fine and loving my photography again.
